Accessibility Full Statement

At London Walks & All, we believe the stories of London should be available to everyone. We are committed to making our tours as accessible and inclusive as possible; however, due to the historic nature of the areas we visit, there are some physical considerations to keep in mind.

1. The Nature of Our Tours
Our walks take place in public spaces, including the City of London, Westminster, and various historic neighborhoods. Guests should be prepared for:

  • Terrain: Uneven pavements, cobblestones, and narrow side streets.

  • Pace: A moderate walking pace with frequent stops to talk. Tours typically last between 2 to 3 hours.

  • Stairs: Some routes may involve footbridges or steps.

2. Wheelchairs and Mobility Aids
We welcome guests using wheelchairs and mobility aids. While many of our standard routes are accessible, some "off-the-beaten-path" shortcuts may include steps.

  • Advance Notice: If you or a member of your party uses a wheelchair, please contact us in advance at grantlander17@gmail.com. This allows Grant to slightly modify the route to ensure it is 100% step-free without missing any of the highlights.

3. Historic Pubs
Many of the pubs featured on our "Pub Walks" are Grade II listed buildings. While most have accessible ground-floor bars, some may have narrow entrances or restrooms located up or down a flight of stairs. Please check with Grant if you have specific concerns regarding a particular venue.

4. Hard of Hearing / Visual Impairments

  • Positioning: Grant is happy to ensure that guests who are hard of hearing or have visual impairments are positioned at the front of the group to better hear the commentary and see the sites.

  • Carers: We offer a complimentary ticket for one essential companion/carer traveling with a guest who has a disability. Please contact us to arrange this before booking.

5. Service Animals
Trained service animals and guide dogs are always welcome on all London Walks & All tours.

6. Contact Us
If you have specific accessibility requirements or questions about a particular tour route (such as the Blitz Tour or The Beatles Walk), please reach out. We are more than happy to discuss your needs and do our best to accommodate you.
